The wine is a deep ruby red colour with garnet hues.
The bouquet has spicy notes and scents of brushwood. It is a full, virile wine, with a pervasive body and lingering persistence.
The alcohol content is 13% by volume.
Its total acidity is between 4,5 and 5,5 per thousand.
It is presented in Bordeaux bottles made of dark glass which improve conservation.
It should be oxygenated in large balloon glasses and tasted at a temperature between 16 and 18°C.
Its robustness and harmony make it a wine for serving with game, grilled and roast meats.
