Friuli Colli Orientali

Is is the jewel of winegrowing in Friuli. They say that it was already well-known and appreciated in ancient Rome, although its golden age was probably towards the end of the 18th century, when Count Fabio Asquini exported a grand total of over 100,000 bottles all over Europe, to grace the princely tables of London, Paris, Amsterdam, Russia and many German towns. It was also served at the Imperial and Papal courts. e peculiarity as a wine is linked with a congenital anomaly: floral abortion, which means that not all the flowers can be fertilised. e few grapes that reach maturity are used to obtain a unique and rare wine, a wine for Kings and the King of wines

It is presented in 500 ml bottles made of dark glass.

It should be tasted at a temperature between 8 and 10°C.

It is a wine for thought. Its uniqueness and delicacy make it best drunk without food.
